The Groningen Energy and Sustainability Program, GESP, combines all the energy related research of the University of Groningen. Current research themes vary from gas combustion processes to world-wide energy markets, from plastic solar cells and energy producing bacteria to energy property rights, from regional planning to global climate change. GESP coordinates international scientific networks and works with various partners in the private sector, both at regional and international levels.
